Livestream & Prep
for first Twitch Convo in Space

In 2025, PAO Leah Cheshier and NASA astronaut Matthew Dominick lead a live conversation from NASA Johnson with NASA astronaut Don Pettit from the space station's cupola. This was the first time an astronaut conversation was twitch-streamed from space.

It was a BLAST to plan behind the scenes, providing talking points, writing social copy, managing the live chat, and prepping Leah and Matthew.

Livestream & Prep
for X Spaces Panel

While I was working with ISS Research Communications, we led a headquarters-level Earth Day panel using X Spaces to discuss current Earth and climate science research conducted by the agency. We brough in experts from several centers to share the variety of ways NASA conducts Earth science.

Landsat Geonarratives

Created for the USGS Landsat program, these webpages use maps, images, and stories to show how Landsat satellites help people around the world. They highlight real examples—like tracking city growth, supporting farmers, managing water, and responding to natural disasters—making it easy to see how Landsat data benefits everyday life.

I presented one of these geonarratives, Landsat Science Products, in NOAA's Satellite Book Club (SBC) Seminar Series in July 2022. You can view the presentation on YouTube.

Beyond the Metal: Investigating Soft Robots at NASA Langley

While the word ‘robot’ conjures images of metal arms and gears, soft robotic actuators are bioinspired, looking at the way nature works to create new robot movements. By being constructed from highly flexible materials, soft robots are able to move similarly to living organisms, allowing new ranges of motion that traditional robots simply can’t have. Space applications of these actuators can expand the role of robots in exploration and assembly.

One of the many articles I wrote during my NASA internship in 2019, this piece highlights two interns investigating technology for future moon landings.

Apollo 50th Anniversary
Media Packet

The main focus of my NASA Langley Internship was supporting Langley through the Apollo 50th anniversary. One task was to organize hundreds of images, videos, and other resources for regional community and media partners. This excel sheet held assets including 29 fact sheets, 281 photos, 93 videos, 38 gifs, 16 documents, and 21 exhibits. It was presented as a resources to additional groups such as the Apollo Anniversary Team, OSCAB Directorate, and Langley OD.

At a community organizing meeting for planning Apollo 50th anniversary events, 20 individuals from regional media and partner organizations applauded my short presentation explaining the resources in the fact sheet and how to use it, saying that the document would save them months of independent research. It's still the only spreadsheet I've seen recieve a robust round of applause.
